At Riverbrook Animal Hospital, our primary focus is on preventative care and medical treatment, which means our space is primarily reserved for patients under medical supervision. However, we understand that some pets have unique health needs that can’t be accommodated in standard boarding facilities. That’s why we offer limited, medically-informed boarding options for cats and select dogs requiring medication or post-surgical observation.
We do not offer general dog boarding, but we’re happy to help refer you to trusted local providers when needed.
To protect all pets in our care, current vaccinations are required before any boarding stay.
Dogs must be up to date on: Rabies, Distemper-Parvo, and Bordetella
Cats must be up to date on: Rabies and Distemper/Upper Respiratory vaccinations
The Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine works best when administered at least 5–7 days before boarding. We strongly recommend confirming with any facility you may use if the vaccine is required, and we’re happy to schedule a convenient time to get your pet up to date.
If we’re unable to accommodate your pet’s boarding needs, our team can provide referrals to reputable boarding facilities or in-home pet sitters in the area. Just give us a call, and we’ll help you find the right fit.
Riverbrook Animal Hospital makes it easy to stay connected to your pet’s health needs with convenient online tools. Whether you’re scheduling an appointment, accessing medical records, or ordering prescriptions, everything you need is right at your fingertips.
